In the heart of Kenya’s informal settlements, children face the crushing weight of generational poverty every day.

They endure overcrowded, under-resourced classrooms, chronic hunger that hinders their ability to learn, and the profound psychological toll of their environment, all while their extraordinary potential remains stifled by a lack of opportunity.

Beyond the Vision Initiative began not in a boardroom, but under the shade of a tree in Machakos County, where a small group of determined parents and community members gathered with a shared belief: every child, no matter their circumstances, deserved a chance to thrive. From these humble, community-rooted beginnings, BVI has grown into a nationally registered force for change, transforming that initial act of solidarity into a proven, holistic model.

We address poverty at its roots by integrating quality education with essential nutrition, mental wellness support, sustainable livelihoods, and empowering mentorship.

This integrated approach ensures that children are not only in school but are also equipped to break the cycle of generational poverty for good, building on a foundation of authentic community partnership and tangible impact.

Located on a 45-acre campus in Laikipia, this visionary project will scale Beyond the Vision Initiative’s proven model into a fully integrated ecosystem. It will deliver world-class education and vocational training powered by renewable energy, while its operational engine—a market-driven Skills Centre and sustainable farm—generates diversified revenue to ensure long-term financial independence.
